Shear Resistance
Retaining wall units are engineered with open cores in the center of the block that are filled with drainage aggregate during installation. This design forms continuous stone columns the entire height of the wall, significantly increasing block to block shear resistance and enhancing the wall’s stability during and after construction.

Tri-Lock™ Technology is Premier's three-point alignment system that securely locks retaining wall units together during installation. By incorporating alignment lugs at the center and both wings of each block, Tri-Lock™ significantly reduces unit twisting and shifting, resulting in faster installation, improved alignment, and a more stable wall throughout construction.
